The Independent Motor Dealers Association (The IMDA) is the UK’s only trade association dedicated exclusively to supporting independent motor dealers. Founded in November 2017, the IMDA now represents over 1,800 members and works tirelessly to promote professionalism, transparency, and trust across the industry.

Members benefit from a wide range of free resources including, Legal and HR helplines, DVLA/DVA/DVSA support, a national service support map, exclusive partner offers, members masterclasses and much more. The IMDA also plays a key role in shaping industry policy and legislation, ensuring the voice of independent dealers is heard.
